Old Boy - Brent Sancho

A rock-solid defender, Brent Sancho has learned the art of defence while playing in Great Britain. After two years with Scottish club Dundee, he moved south to English side Gillingham in 2005.

His senior international debut was a 5-0 win over the Netherlands Antilles in 2000. While at Dundee, he played against the country of his employers, with the 'Soca Warriors' losing 4-1 to Scotland in a friendly at Easter Road in 2004.

He played in 11 of his country’s 2006 FIFA World Cup™ CONCACAF qualifiers.

Sancho played in the 2006 FIFA World Cup where he was the victim to the infamous 'The Hand of Crouch' incident in the WC game against England when Peter Crouch tugged Sancho’s hair so hard it spun him around completely ... and 'naturally' no match official saw it (film footage showed the linesman had a perfect view of the incident).

It should be noted that the picture which was circulated around the internet and featured in several newspapers was edited by the webbie of Trinibase.com and this website - old boy Brian Lewis (aka Kamau Siyolo).
